Instead of new parts, 1:1 Austausch für Elektronik (‘Exchange for Electronics’) allows vehicle repair shops to order and receive a refurbished product (e.g. ABS, ECU, satnav) within 24 hours. Thereby, repairs are carried out for flaws and defective electronics, any wear parts are exchanged and visual defects are rectified. The system creates a closed loop because workshops can also return defective units – resulting in significant material- and energy savings. Because it saves time and money, car drivers also welcome this ecological alternative.
