MANN+HUMMEL is bringing more sustainable cabin air filters with recycled activated carbon into series production. The filters protect vehicle occupants from gases, odors, pollutants, and allergens. A specially developed recycling process recovers the activated carbon from production waste and used filters, reducing raw material consumption, waste, and transport emissions. The innovation has a patent pending. Initially, production waste from the German and Czech plants will be processed.
