The Eine-Welt-Solar-Kollektor (One World Solar Collector) was conceived as a low-cost solution for the global energy supply, making solar heat-based production of energy a matter of course. The low production costs make it of particular interest for emerging and developing countries. Unlike similar panels of metal and glass, which require high quantities of energy-intensive materials such as copper and aluminium, the Eine-Welt-Solar-Kollektor is made entirely of plastic.
