The Kiezkaufhaus (Neighbourhood Store) is an online shop that local traders can use to offer their products. Orders are delivered on the same day by cargo bike. The Kiezkaufhaus uses short delivery routes with no interim storage, and reduces packaging through the use of deposit bags. The platform currently processes around 20 orders per day. Compared to conventional mail order businesses, this saves around 14 kg of CO2 per day.
