On average, up to 30 % of any given crop is sorted out for purely aesthetic reasons. Querfeld offers farmers the opportunity to sell these ‘crooked’ fruit and vegetables – quickly and flexibly. As well as networking producers and customers, the project also contributes to raising public awareness on the issues of food waste and biodiversity. This is achieved through targeted marketing activities and communication materials provided to platform clients.
