Printing with waste products

Ladina Ingold

In this "waste printing process", organic by-products from local companies are upcycled and upgraded into short-lifespan printed materials. Here, residual materials such as oil or juice are collected, dried, ground, processed into pigments and then screen-printed into packaging materials, posters or flyers. The end result are unique items with a high-quality look and feel. Upon disposal, the printed materials can be recycled as waste paper.
